Ilusion is a band made up of four dedicated musicians, Rey Laureles (Accordionist and Segunda Voz), Robert Laureles Jr. (Bajo Sexto and Primera Voz), Chris Solis (Bajo Electrico and Vocals) and Manuel Castanuela (Bateria). The group was formed when Rey Laureles and his brother Robert Laureles Jr. decide to unite after playing in seperate bands for several years. After searching, Rey and Robert Jr. knew they had found the right musicians to complete the sound and style of music they were looking for when they met with Chris Solis and Manuel Castanuela. Ilusion is proving to be one of la onda Norteno's hard hitting bands. With the hardcor Norteno sound influenced by Ramon Ayala, Los Tigrillos, and many others, Ilusion will soon be a house hold name for years to come.
